INFLUENCE
Artist in Residence | Dec - Jan 2026
Influence is a collaborative exhibition that explores how ideas, systems, and shared experiences shape the way we see, think, and move through the world. Curated by Niya Rivera in collaboration with Just Be and Erika Muecke, the show invites viewers into a space of dialogue, tension, and reflection—where influence is felt rather than explained.

Meet The Artists
NIYA RIVERA
Niya Rivera has spent over 30 years painting and drawing, embracing the vulnerability and courage her art demands. Her work tells stories of love, passion, joy, and sometimes pain, capturing human emotion with each brushstroke. For Niya, art is both a practice and a powerful expression of life’s experiences.
Her primary passion lies in crafting a unique blend of art that explores the intersection of classical and ancestral roots within a contemporary, street art-like space.
JUST BE
Just Be is an artist whose work explores the subtle and not-so-subtle ways culture and society shape us through cartoons, television, and media. Through a distinctive visual style, he highlights the pressures, contradictions, and influences that permeate everyday life, turning familiar imagery into thought-provoking commentary. His art challenges viewers to reflect on the world around them.
